Y We’re Building a Gym
As Ridgefield grows we are in need of more spaces for youth sports, exercise and indoor activities.
• Youth Sports positively impact a child’s mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Adolescents who play sports are 8 times more likely to be physically active later in life than those who do not.
• Adults who are physically active reduce their risk of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, cancer, type-2 diabetes, and falls and improve mental health, cognitive health, sleep and measures of body fat.
